A wiki is a collection of helpful information that is continually added to and kept online. The first one was created by a Hawaiian man named Ward Cunningham in 1994. The word "wiki" is a abbreviation for the Hawaiian word "wikiwiki" which means "quick" in the native language. A wiki is described by Ward as, "The simplest online database that could possibly work."We use pbWiki at DormNet to document common computer problems in hopes of helping us as well as students in solving these problems.
